VP of Operations


Who We are IG Soft was founded in 2001 in Sofia, Bulgaria as one of the first licensors of online poker software platforms. Over the years, our group has evolved into a family of companies focused on innovation in the intersection of gaming, social gaming, and emerging trends in adjacent markets. The Chief Operating Officer– The COO is responsible for driving productivity and ensuring we deliver the right products to our users by creating an open and communicative culture, by shaping flexible processes that adapt to our shifting business needs, and hiring and developing a talented work force. The COO has direct responsibility over the UIUX, Product Management and Agile Project Management teams to ensure the development of shared products, services and processes. In order to ensure efficient communication and a cohesive strategy is maintained both internally, and externally with customers. The COO is also responsible for the Business Development and Customer Relations teams. He/she also works closely with the HR and Administration team. Additionally, the COO owns the product delivery roadmap, all internal process organization and is responsible, along with the CTO, for delivery against that roadmap. The COO is a believer in a bottom-up company, and works for inclusion and transparency while providing clarity regarding the company’s tactical and strategic goals.
  • Reviews project proposals from Product Owners and approves projects for sizing and possible roadmap places
  • Prioritizes projects from a strategic perspective in shaping the roadmap ad adjusting our strategy to meet business needs in a dynamic and shifting landscape
  • Works with the CTO to ensure that project delivery commitments are met, and or changed when needed
  • Works with CRM (Customer Relations) to ensure that customer (B2) needs are met and that development priorities are reflective of market realities
  • Drive an MVP, user-driven product development culture, actively mentoring and training product owners
  • Acts as a Stakeholder for several key projects and initiatives
  • Encourages Product Owners to identify and find new stakeholders and organizes and encourages market feedback
  • Works with UIUX to ensure that all user facing products are built with user feedback and iterative and responsive design practices
  • Works closely with Scrum Masters and Agile teams to ensure that processes and methodologies serve the needs of the company ad are not rigid and unresponsive
  • Works with the CTO to ensure that the Agile Project Management team is meeting its needs both organizationally and from a coaching perspective
  • Works closely with the CTO to ensure that processes, tools and the company’s culture are meeting the needs of the IT and software development teams
  • Works with the HR team to ensure career pathing, training, and recruitment needs are met across the organization
  • Works with the Business Development team to ensure that sales opportunities mesh with our product goals
  • Works with the CEO to ensure the executive and board reporting is accurate and timely
  • Works with the CEO to understand the company’s strategic goals, and communicates those goals regularly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • +10 years software development lifecycle experience
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Big Data and understands how to define metrics and KPI’s that can aid in making business decisions
  • Experience working closely with UIUX and Product teams and ensuring they have direct customer contact and feedback
  • Experience with AB testing, Customer Surveys, and dynamic feedback systems
  • Experience developing and/or using enterprise CRM, and ERP solutions, ideally in the gaming/gambling spaces
  • Experience developing and/or using gaming platforms, ideally in either gaming/gambling or social gaming spaces
  • Some familiarity with the gaming regulatory landscape
  • Bottom Up manager that can take criticism and is willing to admit their mistakes
  • Experience in Product and Project management with at least a recent (2-3 year) focus on agile development environments
  • Experience in matrix organizations
  • Experience in leadership, developing people, and a focus on communication over authoritarian management
  • Must have a passion for changing the current gaming ecosystem, and improving online and land-based casino environments through the use of technology, user-focus, and agile development practices
